The foundation of Sangameshwar College, a top educational institution in Solapur, was made by visionary leaders Hon. N. B. Kadadi and Hon. M. B. alias Appasaheb Kadadi. Following the vision of our founders, Hon. Chairman Meghraj Kadadi and Hon. Mrs. Hemlata Kadadi has played a pivotal role in guiding our institution’s direction. The contributions of past principals, particularly K. Bhogishayana, a former Vice-Chancellor of Shivaji University, have been instrumental in establishing our college’s legacy of educational excellence.

Upholding their legacy, Hon. Chairman Dharmraj Kadadi has been crucial in guiding Sangameshwar College into a new era of academic distinction. Under his dynamic leadership our college has achieved the distinguished status of being Solapur city’s first autonomous institution. Hon. Secretary Jyoti Kadadi is instrumental in the administration, specifically in the implementation of its strategic plans.

The implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 began in the academic year 2023-24. The NEP has reshaped our framework to foster critical thinking, creativity, and holistic learning, aligning with our longstanding commitment to these values. As we embrace these changes, we remain dedicated to nurturing the minds and talents of our students. We prepare our students to excel in a dynamic world. Our pursuit of excellence is driven by our enthusiastic students, engaged parents, committed faculty, caring non- teaching staff and supportive alumni.
